1. Acceptance

Welcome to TartTalk. These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and us regarding the use of our products and services. By registering, logging in or using the services, you accept these Terms in full, including the limitation-of-liability clauses and Article 4 ("Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Users").

If you obtained this app from the Apple App Store, these Terms apply together with the Standard Apple End User License Agreement (Apple EULA); where the two differ, the stricter provision applies. The content-safety provisions in Article 4 are made in accordance with the Apple App Store Review Guidelines on user-generated content.

2. Accounts

You agree to provide true, accurate and complete registration information and keep it updated. Accounts are for your personal use only; keep your credentials safe. Lending, renting, transferring or selling accounts is prohibited.

3. Acceptable Use

You must not use the services to: violate any applicable law; infringe the rights of others (including privacy, reputation, portrait and intellectual property rights); publish false, pornographic, violent, gambling-related or fraudulent content; misuse the AI chat, community or messaging features for unlawful activities; or interfere with the normal operation of the services, including mass registration and scraping.

We may remove or block violating content, restrict features or suspend accounts, and keep records and report to competent authorities as required by law.

4. Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abusive Users

1. Zero-tolerance policy. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy towards objectionable content and abusive users. You agree not to post, transmit or help transmit any objectionable content, including but not limited to:

• Obscene, pornographic or any form of child sexual exploitation material;
• Content promoting violence, terrorism, self-harm or harm to others;
• Hate speech, or discriminatory and abusive content based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other ground;
• Harassment, intimidation, abuse or doxxing (unlawful collection or publication of personal information of others);
• False information, fraud, gambling and any other unlawful content.

1. Content filtering. We operate pre-publication and post-publication content filtering and review mechanisms (automated moderation combined with human review) to prevent objectionable content from appearing in the services.
2. Reporting and 24-hour action. You may report objectionable content or abusive users at any time through the in-app report entry. We will act on all reports within 24 hours by reviewing and removing the offending content and taking action against the user who provided it.
3. Blocking users. You may block any other user within the app. Once blocked, that user can no longer interact with you, send you messages or show you content. Blocked users must not circumvent blocking by registering new accounts.
4. Enforcement. Depending on severity, we may remove content, issue warnings, restrict features, or suspend or permanently ban accounts. Where conduct may be unlawful, we will preserve evidence and report it to competent authorities as required by law.
5. Published contact information. These Terms and the content-safety reporting contact are published in the app under "Settings" and on the App Store listing. You may also reach us at support@tartalk.cn.

5. AI-Generated Content

Part of the services relies on artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or fictional and does not constitute professional advice (medical, legal, financial or otherwise). Please use your own judgment. Your chats are processed as described in the Privacy Policy. AI output is equally subject to Article 4: objectionable content is handled under zero tolerance regardless of whether it is produced by a user or generated by AI.

6. Paid Services

Some features are paid; pricing and rules are shown at purchase. Virtual items and membership benefits may not be transferred or refunded outside statutory requirements; minor top-ups are handled per applicable regulations. Payment issues can be raised through customer support.

7. Intellectual Property

The software, interface design, assets and content of the services are owned by us or our licensors. As to content you submit, you grant us only the license necessary to provide and improve the services. Copying, scraping, reverse engineering or commercial use without permission is prohibited.

8. Disclaimers

We are not liable for service interruptions or data loss caused by force majeure, network failures or scheduled maintenance, but we will mitigate losses. You are responsible for consequences of your breach of these Terms and for any resulting damage to us or third parties.

9. Changes and Termination

We may revise these Terms and will announce material changes in the app; continued use constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the services and delete your account at any time; we may also suspend or terminate the services in accordance with applicable procedures.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall be resolved by friendly negotiation first; failing that, either party may bring a claim before a competent court at our place of domicile.
